Guilt without Tauba (repentance, self-correction), leads to depressrion.. -Babar R Chaudhry- Arrahman-Arraheem.com
Excellent
saying by Babar Chaudhry, I myself experienced this situation in my life, as a
born Muslim I know all the basic dos and don’ts taught by Islam and always had
fear of accountability by my Rab Almighty
Allah SWT.
That is why whenever I did anything wrong or commit any sin deliberately
I always felt guilty after committing that act, most of the time I feel
guilty of facing Allah SWT when I offer my 5 time prayers, I ask forgiveness from my lord for my sins
every time, which give me peace of mind for a while, as we all know that He is
Ghafur & Raheem.
But I didn’t realize that there are some sins which
has become a routine for me and I got habitual of doing them.
So psychologically
things started getting worse for me day by day, because that peace of mind
which I used to get after asking forgiveness for my sins has stopped giving me relief
from the guilt and wrong doings.
I also
start doing some charity things to balance my deeds but that hasn’t worked for me
eternally, I don’t know exactly how long
it took but slowly that burden of the continuous guilt started transforming into depression, and started effecting my mind and my abilities
severely.
I was looking for a way out from this situation, and one day I came across
a video lecture on the topic of Tauba & Astaghfar by Babar R. Chaudhry. This lecture totally
changed my concept about Tauba & Mafi, I understood that until I do a sincere tuba (which
means to make a commitment of not repeating that wrong action or sin again) the
guilt of sins will never go away.
after watching this lecture I realized that asking forgiveness from Allah SWT without doing
Tauba and self correction is not more than a tranquilizer which acts as a pain
killer but can’t give you healing from the disease which is causing pain in our
body. Similarly healing of soul is only possible with Sincere Tuba and Self
correction, believe me it took only seconds for me to take my guilt away which I
was carrying since many years.
This lecture also explained very well that how to stood-fast after doing Tauba
and commitment with Allah. The most beautiful thing which I learned
from this lecture is the Ayat which states “Surly Allah Love Those Who Repent”.
I never knew that before that a sinner could get the Love of Allah by just
doing a sincere repentance (Tuba).
Thankfully
after getting knowledge about all that I did Tuba and made commitment with myself
and with Allah, not to repeat all those things which kept me guilty for many
years and made my life depressive.
I
also found many other useful lectures on various basic topics like Namaz, Shukar, Deen, Surah Fatiha, Shetaan etc…. By Babar Chaudhry. I found all lectures very
informative and very much related to my daily life.
Here I want to thank the Scholar
Babar R. Chaudhry & the uploader too

and I thought I should share the lectures link for the readers too, who
knows this could become blessing for people who are looking for a way out from
a sinful life like me.....
